Plan your reception counter before requesting a quote
Start with the reception area you want to discuss. Note who works behind the counter, which existing devices need a place, and what visitors need to see or reach. Then list the counter, back wall, logo and lighting items you want included in the quote.
Keep the request focused on reception
The reception service covers the requested reception area. It does not include fitting out the rest of a clinic or salon, or supplying its medical or salon equipment.
The image is a design concept associated with post 60. It is not evidence of a completed project, a specific material, measured dimensions or a known location.
Describe the reception area and who uses it
Share the business activity, the reception area you want to discuss and how many people work behind the counter. Mention the tasks they handle so the requested counter layout can be discussed around their needs.
Keep the request to reception. The service does not include fitting out the rest of a clinic or salon or supplying its medical or salon equipment.

List the devices and items that need a place
Make a list of the devices and everyday items you already have and want to place at reception. If you know their sizes, share them so their location can be considered.
Sharing a device size is for discussing its place at reception; it does not mean the device is supplied or that other clinic or salon equipment is included.
Explain what visitors should find at the counter
Describe how visitors approach the reception and what they need to ask, see or hand over. Note any entrance or access questions you want to discuss without assuming a particular layout or clearance.
The concept image shows a reception counter, a chair behind it, a plant, pendant lights and a vertically lined wall. Use it as a visual idea only; it does not show your premises or confirm project details.

Name the counter, back-wall, logo and lighting requests
List the items you want to discuss, such as space for a screen or drawers, the back wall and a logo position, or lighting. Say whether you are asking about logo placement only or also want logo manufacture and installation considered.
Logo manufacture and installation should be included only when stated in the quote. Review the requested items and price before fabrication or installation; lighting and installation follow the agreed quote.
Prepare your notes; photos are optional
Before the discussion, gather the business activity, reception area, staff count, existing devices and their sizes if available, visitor needs, and the counter or back-wall work you want considered. Photos can help explain the space, but they are optional.
Ask for the agreed reception work and any additions to be written into the quote before work starts. For the company’s general process, see the separate guide.

Questions to settle before discussing reception work
Does the reception service cover the whole clinic or salon?
No. The service is for the reception area. The rest of the facility and its medical or salon equipment are excluded.
Are medical or salon devices included?
No. You can share the size of an existing device so its place at reception can be considered; supplying it or other facility equipment is outside this service.
Can you make and install our logo?
A logo position can be discussed. Logo manufacture and installation should be listed in the quote if you want them included.
Do I need to send photos?
No. Photos are optional, though they can help explain the reception entrance and area.
